Health & Safety
Grand View Church Nursery
GVBC Nursery Safety Standards:
Every child that enters our nursery must be signed in by a parent.  The parent will then be given a nursery tag that cordinates with their child.  At this time the child's eating schedule, food allergies, concerns or special instructions  will be noted by the  nursery worker on their chart so that all the nursery workers are aware of thier needs during their stay. Parents and other visitor's to the nursery will not be allowed past the check-in point during the services (Only nursery workers scheduled to work that service will be allowed).  All children must be picked up by the same parent (unless other arrangements were previoiusly made) with the nursery tag provided.

GVBC Nursery Health Standards:
The nursery is cleaned after every service.  The nursery workers have also been instructed on how to maintain a safe and clean working environment during the service through hand washing, proper cleaning/santitizing of the changing area and play equipment (swings, bouncers, etc.).  The toys are also cleaned routinly in a high-temp santitizer.
It is our prayer that all of our children are in good health at all times. However, when symptoms are present, bringing children out and having them around other children is unfair to both your child and the other children. Please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she is displaying signs of sickness (green runny nose, watery eyes, fever, rash, diearhea, etc.).
